When you register on our website and you will be asked to provide private information. To register on our website the following information is required:
Working Women web site collects statistical information about each visit to its site. The information collect is not private information, rather statistics on how many visitors access our site, their IP addresses and which domain and browsers our visitors use. This information is aggregated and used by Working Women to understand more about our visitors and to help us improve the services that we provide. As with all such websites we use “cookies”, data that is stored on your hard drive containing information about you as a user of our website.
What information do we share?
As with all Australian business we have a legal obligation to share information requested by law enforcement agencies and the like. We do not share any personal information to any other business or person other than the personal information provided to our registered employers that are seeking employees, using our job board. Our registered job seekers have the opportunity to upload their curriculum vitae and we provide a service to our registered employers to allow them to search our database for potential employees.
How can you better management of your personal information?
Job Seekers are only required to provide their Full Name, email address and location. Should the Job Seeker provide further information you should consider whether the information provided is required or not. The user is also required to ensure that the information provided is correct and current. Should you decide that you wish to remove your personal data from our servers you should contact us by email, at firstname.lastname@example.org with a request for us to delete your account.
What marketing do we do with your personal information data?
Upon registering with our website both employers and Job Seekers accept that we will use their email address to provide updates on jobs offered to Job Seekers and responses received from applicants to their posted job advertisement, both by email or by each user’s dashboard. We do not provide any personal information to any business person outside of these services.
Who is responsible for other service providers advertised on our website?
Working Women will provide links to other websites advertising assistance or products that are relevant to our users seeking support in finding and managing their employment. Working Women are not responsible for the privacy policies of these web sites or the content and services provided by these websites.
Our responsibilities outside of our website
Working Women is not responsible for the personal information provided by a Job Seeker or an Employer that has occurs outside of our website.
Our users exchange of personal information using our website
Our website promotes interaction and in our forums we support women coming together in helping others by providing advice and those seeking answers or direction. This engagement with others within our website is encouraged, however each user is responsible for the information that they share on our website and Working Women cannot guarantee or warrant the privacy of any information shared by any user.
